Central Bark’s enrichment schedule includes fun and stimulating activities like ‘Magical Manners’, ‘Tricks for Treats’, ‘Pool Parties’, and ‘Sniffaris’. These sessions provide positive experiences that channel dogs’ energy in rewarding, enriching ways—while making sure they have a great time.

All team members are trained in low-stress handling and use positive reinforcement and reward-based training, offering dogs love, affection, treats, and toys. At Central Bark, every dog is treated with compassion and kindness, with animal welfare always the top priority.

Improving our staff training programmes and first day assessments for temperament testing new dogs

What message would you like to share with people about the importance of using services from businesses with high welfare standards, like those who carry the SPCA Certified blue badge?

We think it's important to show the extra safety steps that have been taken to reduce risk wherever possible, particularly around staff to dog ratios, training and emergency procedures.
